Recently, Orcan International Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (OIET) held a 200kW quick-installation ORC generator module on-load test run at its Hangzhou South Manufacturing Base, and signed a 200kW quick-installation ORC generator module cooperation agreement with Yangde Environment and Qingdao Special Steel. Guests from more than a dozen industrial enterprises in the domestic petrochemical, steel, coal-bed methane and other fields watched the on-site test run of the 200kW quick-installation ORC generator module and participated in the exchange activities on the application of quick-installation ORC power generation technology in the industrial field.

Recently, following the successful commissioning of 70 ORC modules of Myanmar MY90 project, Orcan International Energy Technology Co., Ltd (OIET) has brought another piece of good news in the field of distributed power station. A total of 21 ORC modules of MY133 project and Bagan project have also been successively put into use, and successfully connected to the grid for power generation. Since its commissioning, the ORC equipment has been operating stably, safely and reliably, reaching the designed power generation and passing the one-time acceptance inspection by the owner. Up to now, OIET has put into use 91 ORC modules in Myanmar, and nearly 300 ORC preheating generator modules for follow-up projects are also rapidly advancing according to the timeline.

November 7th, 2018, Hong Kong) VPower Group International Holdings Limited (“VPower Group” or the “Group”, stock code: 1608.HK), a leading DPG station owner and operator in Southeast Asia, is pleased to announce that the Group and Electric Power Generation Enterprise, Ministry of Electricity and Energy of the Government of Myanmar entered into the power purchase agreement for the purchase of electricity and power generation of a 90MW gas engine power plant in Myingyan, Myanmar (the “Project”) with a term of 60 months from the commercial operation date (which may be extended by agreement) today. The Group plans to build the power plant with an installed capacity of 109.7MW and expects that the Project will commence commercial operation in February 2019. It will be the first time for the Group to install Organic Rankine Cycle (“ORC”) system for residual heat to power conversion for the Project, with an aim to enhance the energy efficiency and reduce energy cost.
